Rehabilitation
WELCOME to our spacious new 1600 sq. ft. rehab room. Therapy assists individuals in returning to their highest possible level of functional independence. Whether recovering from a recent hospitalization due to illness or surgery, or experiencing a decline in balance, mobility, joint functions, or cognition, the dynamic therapy services available at Calvert Manor offer comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation services to fit the specific needs of each resident.
Speech – Language Pathology
Residents are assisted with recovering speech, language and swallowing functions, as well as memory by helping address problems with communication and swallowing dysfunction. Individual functional activities are integrated to challenge improved cognition and resident interaction and carryover.
Physical Therapy
People with neuromuscular and/or skeletal dysfunction often benefit from physical therapy. After an evaluation by a therapist, patients work on individualized treatment programs to attain optimum level of functioning.
Occupational Therapy
Through appropriate therapeutic activities,individuals are assisted in adapting to their social and physical environment. By adapting tasks and modifying surroundings, residents regain confidence as they improve their ability to function.
